Bernette Nieb, 77, of Marlboro Township passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at home. Mrs. Nieb was born in Teaneck and had resided in Marlboro Township for over 40 years. She met her husband, Henry, while both were employed at New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. Mrs. Nieb went on to work at the Y.M.C.A.’s Camp Arrowhead Recreation Area in Marlboro. Mrs. Nieb was an active member of the Marlboro Township community and served on the Marlboro Green Team. She was also associated with the paleontology department at the New Jersey State Museum, Trenton. Surviving are her husband, Henry Nieb; and a daughter, Evelinn Nieb. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Services will be held during the viewing hours at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. George Kadin, Pastor of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro officiating.
