Joseph Anthony Tracy, 90, of Howell Township died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune Township. He was born in Secaucus, New Jersey on February 22, 1931, to Joseph Bruno Tracy and Jean Smentkowski. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, he worked as a foreman for the 3M Company in Freehold Township before retiring in June 1986. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jane Test Tracy; two sons, Joseph Tracy, Jr. (Karen), and Steven Tracy; a brother, Edward Tracy; two grandchildren, Matthew Tracy (Briana) and Jennifer Tracy Woody (Craig). He also adored his two great grandchildren Gavin Tracy and Gwendolyn Woody. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown at a future time. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Howell Senior Center where he was an active member or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
