Obituary of John W. Borden
John W. Borden, 82, of Marlboro Township died Monday, August 28, 2006 at home. Mr. Borden was born in Woodbury and had resided in Marlboro Township for the past 65 years. He was mechanic for Marlboro Chrysler-Plymouth before his retirement. Mr. Borden was a member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro Township, the church’s Consistory, Couples Club, and Fellowship Club. He was also chairman and treasurer of Boy Scout Troop No. 86. Surviving are his wife, Doris King Borden; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kathy Borden, Clark and John and Debbie Borden, Marlboro Township; a sister, Ruth Weatherup, Utica, N.Y.; and six grandchildren, James, Jr., Grace, Shannon, Brian, Timothy, and Kelsey. Memorial services will be held at the Old Brick Reformed Church, 490 Route 520 East, Marlboro Township on Saturday, September 2, 2006 and 11:00 A.M Memorial donations may be made to the Old Brick Reformed Church, PO Box 153, Marlboro, NJ 07746 or Boy Scout Troop No. 86, 29 Carrie Dr., Marlboro, NJ 07746.
